Why Work with Me?

I am very passionate about helping entrepreneurs launch and grow their businesses. As a trauma-informed business coach with 12 years of business experience, I have worked across various sectors, from managing human resources at recreational cannabis stores to enhancing operational efficiencies in non-profit organizations, and supporting growth for solopreneurs.

I am currently pursuing a Doctorate in Philosophy in General Psychology, specializing in Industrial and Organizational Psychology at Grand Canyon University. In addition to working on my PhD, I hold a Master of Science in Entrepreneurship in Applied Technology and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of South Florida. My academic journey is not just about earning degrees; it’s about deepening my understanding of how psychological principles can be applied in the workplace and implementing technological strategies.

My current research focuses on psychological safety, mindfulness, leadership style and enhancing employee happiness and satisfaction—key areas that are critical to the success of any organization. This research, which forms the basis of my dissertation, provides me with cutting-edge insights that I bring into every consulting and coaching engagement.

As a 200-hour registered yoga teacher, I care about integrating yoga principles into the workplace. This includes promoting mindfulness, stress reduction, and physical well-being, which are all vital for maintaining high levels of employee engagement and productivity. Holistic strategies are at the heart of my practice.

Each client engagement is approached with a fresh perspective, ensuring that solutions are not only based on best practices but are also customized to meet the specific needs and goals of your organization. Whether you are looking to refine leadership skills, enhance team dynamics, or transform your organizational culture, I am equipped to guide you through these changes with strategic and mindful interventions.

The Science Behind Flow State and Mindfulness at Work

The flow state, often referred to as “being in the zone,” is a psychological state of optimal experience where a person is fully immersed in an activity, feeling focused, energized, and completely absorbed in what they’re doing. This state has been shown to profoundly impact both high performance and a sense of calmness.

Mindfulness at work refers to the practice of applying mindfulness techniques and principles to the professional environment. It involves being fully present and attentive to the tasks, interactions, and experiences that unfold during the workday. Mindfulness at work is about cultivating a focused and non-judgmental awareness of one’s thoughts, emotions, bodily sensations, and surroundings, even in the midst of a busy and demanding work setting. This practice can have numerous benefits for both employees and organizations.
